Dr.Druz received her undergraduate degree in Bilogy form Hunter College in 1991 (Sum cum laude). She received her medical doctor degree from the Cornell University medical College in 1995, graduating among top 1% of her class. Dr.Druz completed internal medicine residency and cardiovascular fellowship training at the New York hospital –Weill Cornell Medical Center.

She served as an Assistant Chief resident, and chief fellow. Currently, Dr.Druz s an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Stony Brook State University and a co-director of the Nuclear cardiology laboratory at the St.Francis Hospital- The Heart Center. She is actively involved in clinical and research activities and has published over 20 abstracts and manuscripts. |
Dr.Druz is interested in both traditional and holistic approaches to cardiology, nutrition, cardiovascular conditioning, weight management and anti aging treatments. She is actively involved in the advanced cardiac imaging research at St.Francis including cardiac MRI and cardiac CT (“heart scan“). Dr.Druz is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. American Board of Medical Subspecialties in cardiovascular Diseases, Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and National Echocardiography Board. She is the fellow of the American College of cardiology and of The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. |
